Added security for your Can-Am.
DESS (Digitally Encoded Security System) is the Can-Am's factory key system. Acclivity DESS Control makes it harder to defeat. With it enabled, no one can start your machine with another key or a magnet. Only your key starts it.

Standalone aftermarket ECUs can't do this. They force you to bypass the factory security. Acclivity is the only tune platform on the market with DESS Control. Because it's OEM integrated, it works with the factory DESS instead of around it.

You need this entitlement if you:

  • Want your machine protected against theft
  • Want it to start only with your key, not another key or a magnet
  • Want a clean OEM-style install with no bypass or workaround

You don't need it if you:

  • Are fine without the added security on your build

Why it matters: the factory key system alone can be defeated, and a machine is easy to take if it can be started with a magnet or the wrong key. DESS Control closes that gap, so your machine only starts for you.
