Flex Fuel Control (Entitlement)

Run pump gas, E85 or any mix of the two, and let the ECU adjust for you.
With Flex Fuel Control, the ECU reads how much ethanol is in your fuel and adjusts the tune to match, automatically. Fill up with pump gas, E85 or a blend of both, and the engine fuels and times itself for what's in the tank.

You need this entitlement if you:

• Want to switch between pump gas and E85, or mix them, without changing your tune
• Fill up wherever fuel is available and want the ECU to handle it
• Want the power of E85 when you have it and pump gas when you don't

You don't need it if you:

• Run straight E85 all the time. A dedicated E85 tune doesn't need Flex Fuel Control.
• Run straight pump gas all the time

What you need to run flex fuel: three things, and all three are required.

• A harness with the flex fuel input
• A flex fuel (ethanol content) sensor
• This entitlement

Why it matters: ethanol content changes how much fuel the engine needs. A tune built for pump gas runs lean on E85, and a tune built for E85 runs rich on pump gas. Flex Fuel Control reads the actual fuel and adjusts, so you never have to guess or retune.
